The Mace® EDR4011N DVR provides high quality video images of up to 720 x 240 resolution with crisp clear images not available in most time-lapse VCR’s. It comes with a fixed 80GB hard disk drive (HDD) and has the option for a removeable HDD (sold separately), for use as a backup drive or for additional storage capacity, in the hot swappable bay: total potential capacity of 500GB. In addition, video images can be downloaded to an optional Secure Digital card (sold separately) for archiving and evidence purposes. With the remote communication capabilities, users can view live or recorded images and control the recorder through the internet from a remote PC with the included software and a Static IP address.
There are 4 recording quality levels and 11 recording speeds, allowing the user to choose just the right recording quality and speed to suit most any application or requirement. From 16 hours of real time recording and over 11,000 hours of time-lapse recording on one 80GB HDD, the EDR4011N digital recorder is capable of handling most any security application with far greater performance and efficiency than standard VCR’s.
Additional features include motion detection alarm, pre-and-post alarm recordings, water marking with digital signature, multiple search and recording modes. The EDR4011N is compatible with most professional multiplexers and quad processors and also has unique security and safety features such as power interruption recovery and password protection.
